The DentaQuest Oral Health Center’s mission is to create a model of cost-effective, evidence-based dental care. An evidence-based approach relies largely on scientific facts gathered from clinical research.

The DentaQuest Oral Health Center is a member of the PEARL Network, a national group of practice-based research investigators who are working to expand the research evidence base in dentistry. PEARL studies are funded by the Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (part of NIH). The research studies are typically focused on patient care problems routinely encountered in the dental practice. The DentaQuest Oral Health Center's involvement in these studies provides data that can be integrated into our patients’ treatment needs and preferences.
